NIEL SEAL ® is a polymer-based material that can be used for sealing, filling, corrosion prevention, thread sealing, or insulation. It maintains its flexibility permanently. It is resistant to heat and vibration. It does not contain solvents. It does not shrink, crack, or harden. It does not cause difficulties during disassembly as it does not stick. It does not contain silicone.
It is used for sealing generator covers and joints in hydrogen-cooled turbo generators in thermal power plants.
It is injected into the channels on the covers through injection points on the body to ensure impermeability. It has a medium (paste) consistency.
It can also be applied by spreading on gasket surfaces. Additionally, it is used for sealing fluids such as water, gasoline, kerosene, oil, liquid propane, natural gas, glycerin, ethylene glycol, and ammonia.
It can also be used as a gasket for gearboxes that must retain oil and grease. It can be used in areas such as gearboxes, pump bodies, pipe threads, and damaged flange surfaces.
